TEN

“Honey, you have to get up.”

“Five more minutes,” I grumbled from beneath the covers, trying to cling to sleep for dear life. I’d spent the past week going through hours and hours of movie footage, choosing the scenes I wanted to send to my editor. Which had meant crawling into bed at dawn, or sometimes not at all.

The night before, I’d only managed a couple hours of sleep, and that was only because Dana ordered me to bed, otherwise I would have worked right through the night.

“You said that ten minutes ago.” I felt the bed dip slightly beneath her weight. She stroked my back. “You don’t want to be late for work a second time. It’s not a good look.”

I groaned, grabbed a pillow and pressed it to the back of my head. “I’m tired, and it’s so boring there. I’m gonna fall asleep at my desk,” came my muffled response.

“Well look for another job. But to do that, you’ll need to get up.” She always sounded jovial in the morning, as though my antics amused her.

I removed the pillow, tossed it to the other side of the bed, then twisted onto my back to look at my gorgeous girlfriend, who was already dressed for the day.

She smiled down at me. “Are you going to get up now?” Her flamenco red matte lipstick gave her lips a luscious plumpness that made me want to kiss her a thousand times.

“Show me your boobs then I’ll get up.” Like I said, I’d spent every night in my makeshift studio, working on the movie, so I hadn’t seen a boob in a week. If I had any chance of making it through the day, I needed a pick-me-up.

She let out an outraged laugh. “That’s sexual blackmail.”

“No, it’s quid pro quo, lady,” I said with a sleazy smile. “We got a deal?”

It took just a few seconds for her to give in. “Pervert!” she said, and began unbuttoning her crisp white blouse, smiling and rolling her eyes simultaneously.

I sat up on my elbows, anxiously awaiting the unveiling of the famous Dana breasts, like it was my first time seeing them.

“There,” she said, holding her blouse open for me to get a nice, good look. Her bra was white satin, and like everything this woman wore, looked brand new, unlike my white bras, which had turned off-white long ago through over-washing. Inside those cups sat the biggest, most mouth-watering breasts I’d ever seen. I actually licked my lips as I leered at them.

“Mmm,” I moaned admiringly, reaching for them. “Now all we need to do is take this off...”

She pushed my hand away. “Uh-uh, that wasn’t part of the deal.” She chuckled, then began buttoning up her blouse again. “Come on, up you get.”

I tutted and dragged myself out of bed. But she pulled me into a kiss for my troubles.

“I hope you realize I’ll be thinking about them all day now,” I said, holding her tightly in order to feel them pressed against my chest.
